Is it necessary for China and the United States to Resolve Mutual Conflict?

China and the United States are rivals that have been trying to compete with each other to be the most civilized country in terms of economy, technology and so on. Trying to outdo one another, China and the United State have long had disputes. To my way of thinking, they are required to resolve their conflict in no time. Otherwise, it will affect other parts of the world: It’s going to make other countries decide to choose sides, there will possibly be a big war, and the world’s economy will worsen.

First, if the conflict still remains, other countries will be forced to choose the side that they are going to go for. For example, they must choose which country they will trade with or support. When decisions are made, the unchosen country will boycott those countries, so they will create more and more conflict.

Second, the remaining conflict can result in a big war like World War I and II. If they cannot negotiate in a good manner, they will have to use violence instead. For example, if China does not yield to let the United States trade with Chinese’s supporting countries, the United States might use violence to deal with the problem.

Lastly, the world’s economy will be worsening because each country cannot trade with each other so freely. When each country chooses sides, they are unable to sell or purchase goods to other countries so that the economy cannot circulate that eventually makes a country’s economy worse as well as the world’s economy.

To sum up, I think the United States and China should find ways to stop the existing conflict because it will lead to negative consequences: Other countries will be forced to choose sides, a big war can happen, and the world’s economy will be worse. All negative outcomes can be prevented, addressed or relieved if those two countries are open-minded to discuss the solution to any dispute.
