As we all know, in this Thai economy system, 90% of Thai students were told by their parents to work hard on their studies to get good grades. Meanwhile, almost every student is having trouble with this because they have to stay on their parent’s expectations which is the number 1 student problem they’re facing these days.
How is this trouble?
The problem is that kids are having too much pressure at such a low age and this can make a huge impact on their emotions when they grow up. And most of the pressure came for their parent’s high expectations of their kid’s grade by not realizing how hard they work. Then what can kids do to fix this problem? Most of them didn’t fix the problem very well. Some of them start to hate their parents, some hurt themselves or even manage to end everything by suicide. But there are also arguments that the teachers and adults were arguing these days. They said all of these are just an excuse. They don’t really care how kids will feel.
How can you prevent this?
First thing first, parents should stop judging their kids because the more you judge them, the more you judge them, the more pressure they get. So what’s wrong kids having pressure? The answer is on the above. What you wanna do is, you should give them encouragement, you should support them even though they got low grades. You should help them fix the problem.
Also, 1 thing I wanna add is, these days, grades aren’t that important as knowledge. These days, grades are only points or scores that tell how hard we study, but grades aren’t scores that will judge our future.
So what do we do to make them enthusiastic?
Many adults are telling their children that the reason they’re judging them is that they care about us, they want us to gain better grades or better scores. Without judging them then they wouldn’t be enthusiastic about their grades. But can we make be more enthusiastic? The first thing is, you don’t want to intrude on them because all the kid’s pressure is from parents were intruding on kid’s learning and that includes grades. Then you want to give them encouragement as I said on the above. Giving them encouragement and help them fix their problems will make them be more confident about their work and be more enthusiastic.

I have been a student for more than 10 years and there has never been a day in my life where I had no work to do! Have you ever heard of the term “Less is more”? Well I don’t think schools get that concept yet! Crowded Classrooms
I have been in small classrooms and crowded classrooms, There is definitely a difference. When I was in a classroom with only a few students, the teachers could help me, understand me and spend more time with me. But in a crowded classroom I feel like I could never get hold of the teacher, which is understandable because there are ten other classmates who need help just like me. According to NEA the average classroom size should be around 15 students, I’ve been to classes where they had almost triple the amount. I struggle with this issue a lot, not only do I get carried away by the noise but as a shy/introverted student I don’t feel as confident to ask the teacher in this type of environment.
Break Time
Break time is very important to me, this is the only time when I can feel calm and regain my energy. I think it is necessary for a long break time, at least 30 minutes long twice. Usually after a school break I feel positive and motivated to continue studying. To wrap this up I think that school has a lot of flaws to fix. It should start with the little things, such as to not over crowd students in a classroom and I really want all the teachers to communicate to each other so then they would give us less homework in a day. But it’s also about me as a student, I have flaws that can be fixed too, If only I didn’t procrastinate half of the time maybe I would have gotten the work done….

Judging people from their nationality
Judging people’s body appearance becomes a very familiar thing to see and also very ordinary. In Thailand, we often say that America was very bad with racism, but Thai people are just as bad! We can easily see from the refugees that immigrate from Myanmar and Africa or other countries that get treated badly by Thai people. For example, Myanmar refugees have been taken advantage of and insulted by their employers, who overwork them and act disgustingly towards them. Thai people also rejected them out of Thailand without sympathy, even though they don’t have any home in Myanmar and have stayed here since the 1980s. Similarly, the Uighur refugees that also got rejected from Thailand, and Thailand made a lot of excuses like they’re not human or they’re terrorists.
Including disabled people
In Thailand, people also judge other people’s body appearance like in the case of disabled people or people that have contracted congenital diseases, which means that they were born with these diseases and it isn’t their fault. Most people look at them with disgust, act like they are pathetic and laugh at them like they’re freaks. Some disabled people get bullied by their friends in school and become depressed or started to isolate themselves. For me, I think people should regret and be sorry for these people because they cannot choose their own body. Everyone wants to have a good and healthy body. No one likes to be like that so don’t blame them for the body that they can’t choose.
What we can choose to do
From the above mentioned, we can easily see that we can’t choose our own body. We can’t choose to be someone and we also can’t choose to have a healthy body, to be beautiful, to be handsome, to have specific nationality, to be a specific gender or to be born with something that people want them to be. But there was something that people can choose which are “action” and “speech”. We can think it carefully before saying or acting something to someone. At least, that we have this ability so we should choose the best way to say or act to others body appearance.
The way world should change
This problem continually in our world and seems like it’s hard to stop. Nearly a quarter of a billion children and young people world-wide are bullied each year. It makes me think that because we are one little part of this world, we’re all human , we all have feelings and we are equal so we have to act with other people the same way as what we want to receive. They shouldn’t get treated like this and their value shouldn’t be declined by other people. Now it’s the 21st century, people that are oppressed shouldn’t be treated in this way anymore. They should be able live in this world proudly and grateful to be themselves so the world can be a pleasant home for everyone.

BTS is a Kpop group that has 7 members including RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook. They all are a Korean boys that want to follow their dream to become a Singer, Dancer and Rapper. Before they debuted, They lived together in a small room with no money and no hope. They practiced everyday every hour and every second with rest to catch their dream and debuted on 12th June 2013. In the beginning of becoming a Kpop idols, they got lots of bad criticism in their look, face, make up, music etc. But they used their talent and intention against the bad comment to prove that they could become a talented Kpop group.
Music genre
BTS is getting bigger and influencing people in listening to a different music genre. But people still have a discussion that If BTS is more artistically creative than One Direction? First their music genres. As we see that they both released lots of songs and different meanings for people to listen. In each album, BTS always has about 20 songs with different genre music like Hip-Hop, R&B, EDM, Pop, Ballads, Alternative Rock, etc. However, One Direction has only pop, pop rock and teen pop. So we can see that BTS’s music is way more varied and creative than One Direction’s music.
Talented
Let’s talk about their talent! We all know that they both are very talented but let’s see who is better.
Vocals: One Direction has a very unique vocal in each of the members especially Zayn’s vocals. His sexy tone voice is perfect and attractive. His vocals are even better when he does a high notes part! BTS has very great vocals too! They have 4 vocalists with 4 different voices. Jungkook is the main vocalist of the group. Hisvocals are soft with a breathy voice technique. His voice is always stable when he performs on stage. But overall I give One Direction the win for this round because their voice was very unique and had a better voice technique than BTS. (BTS’s rapper vocals aren’t good enough to be compared to other members and One Direction.)
Rap : RM and Suga from BTS were underground rappers before BTS.They’ve all got a unique rap voice, even J-Hope, who had never rapped before, also does great in rapping. They also produced songs and wrote their own rap parts too. One Direction didn’t show off their rapping skills. They mostly sang and played instruments.That means that BTS definitely wins in this round!
Performance : One Direction performances were amazing. Their voices were perfect, their looks were cool and they were very entertaining.People that watched their performance said the same things that their performance was very enjoyable and felt their happiness that they wanted to give to the audience. BTS performance was completely perfect, They had sing, rap, dance, solo times and talk times. They did all of them pretty good and made everyone feel their hard working for their each performance. BTS live singing was even better in live performance (I wish I can go to their concert again after Covid-19 has already been solved.) For me, they both win in this round because they are doing the best in performance and makes the audience feel happy and enjoy the show.

Lyrics
The important part in the song is ‘lyrics’ for sure. For One Direction, they always release love songs, breakup songs, fun songs and some sad songs so it makes people easy to relate to their lyrics. But for BTS, they don’t release just a love or a heartbreak song. Their lyrics are talking about empowerment, self-love, songs that help people get through depression or insecurities. Their lyrics get deeper and deeper and touch people who are depressed and make them feel better. For me both bands’ song lyrics are fantastic, but I prefer BTS because their lyrics teach me that I need to love myself more and more and their lyrics are very deep and based on truth.
One Direction is actually pretty good at concepts too compared to other Western boy bands. Their music changed from more love songs to more heartbreak songs in the later albums and that’s good too. But BTS has done many concepts and slays them all.
For these reasons, I think that BTS is more artistically creative than One Direction. BTS wins more categories than One Direction. They have a variety of songs in 1 album across many genres, they are talented, especially in rapping, dancing and performing, they write deep music that moves people out of depression and makes them happy from their performances. They are very talented and creative, they write their own songs and produce their own songs by themselves. This is a boy band that is artistically creative at all times. But doesn’t mean One Direction isn’t good, they all have different styles and different benefits. I love both groups, but for me BTS is more artistically creative than One Direction.
